Welcome to the forum and a very good choice with the V1!
Sorry I don't have a better picture, but the wife has the car and this was the only one I took yesterday when I made it. Used an old telephone cable, a 1A fuse and fuse holder from radio shack and hooked it all into the rearview mirror. Total time about 5 minutes to make it. Not the prettiest, but looks a heck of a lot better than a coiled one hanging down to the cigarette lighter
And thanks for all of the welcomes!
Welcome to the forum. I'd mount your V1 higher to the left of your RVM.
Since you bought your V1 on Ebay and it didn't come with a power cord, that screams "stolen" to me. If you ever need to send it in for repair and it has been reported stolen, VR won't fix it.
I checked the serial before I bought it and it said "V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8—POP2 with Euro Mode. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser." - and the seller has a good feedback rating. I'm guessing their website wont say stolen or not though, huh? Said he removed it from his car he traded in that was hard wired and he didn't remove the hardwiring - so hope it's not stolen. Was going to send in for a tune-up next week while i'm on vacation anyways - so i'll find out next week and have a chance to hit up Paypal and Ebay if it is stolen.
You have to call VR to find out if it is stolen.
