Default V1 / SF Bay Area

Hi. Just got a V1. Previously had something crappy (can't even remember what it was).

I'm also trying out RadarActive for V1 + iPhone. Looks promising.

Welcome fellow Bay Arean (somehow that doesn't sound quite right).

Live in SF, work in the valley. You should see a trail of points on RadarActive going up 280 this afternoon from me

Unfortunately, or fortunately, they were all false alarms, as far as I could tell)

I drive on 280 every morning as well!

Your K-band didn't stop ringing all the way ha

I have K and X bands disabled in my V1 (at least when I am in the Bay Area), lots of falses on those bands and I haven't seen any LEOs here using K-band (and no X for sure). You can also toggle each band separately in the RadarActive App (I'd recommend disabling X and K in SF & SJ).

Looking forward, we'll be able to map out which bands are used in which location across the country (more on this later...)

Good to see the Bay Area represented on the forum!

Welcome. Kill the K and X bands and things will be much quieter.

    Watch out for the laser.
