Have driven American performance rides all of my life... Did have a Porsche for a short period of time -but- I prefer "torque" intensive muscle... Started using radar detection devices when I owned the Porsche -and- continued since then.

Current ride is a 2008 Z06... Even though most of the towns & cities around San Antonio are using laser, the police here have not started using this revenue generating tool.

In an effort to get a jump on them, I just purchased a Laser Shifter.

Welcome to the club. Nice ride - a friend of mine has one and he 'reluctantly' let me drive his car - (but I can be convincing) - love the head up display.

Laser Shifter may be fine for your car - from what I have seen, just getting a LIDAR read w/o protection is not easy.
