    Default New from RI

    Hi all-

Just joined the forum. I got a new M3 last month and already have 1 speeding ticket (that makes 2 so far this year). I'm tired of getting speeding tickets, so I got a V1 for some protection against radar. Currently looking for a good way to do a stealth install of the V1 in my 2011 E92 M3 (so I can leave it in the car w/o having it stolen), but having some trouble finding something that doesn't require making non-reversible changes to the car (it's a lease). Also considering laser jammers, but not sure if it's necessary in my area.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the club.
Can't help you on the VI stealth install, but there's a bunch of V1 users here who I'm sure will chime in.

Welcome to the forum. Definitely get yourself some jammers. I wouldn't want to speed without them.

Welcome to the forum, there is a whole lot of good info here and yes you have a nice ride. Hardwire will be good but I don't know that you want to leave it in your car all of the time, some places you might want to rethink that. I can leave mine in if I'm at work and I keep my in when I'm at home in the garage but not like if I'm down town or something like that.

I keep both my V1/Redline in a visor pouch, it stays right underneath the visor and keeps the RD's in Semi-Stealth mode, not perfect but not out in plain site either. Definitely give allot of thought about investing in some LJ's you never know when you will need them but better to get them now instead of getting another ticket later.
