As great as those are, the OP never gave any sign that he was willing to spend anywhere near the $2K-$3K price range.

At the end of the day it is just a waste of money. RD's don't really work. My Cobra has failed me many of times.

The kind of I/O you encounter will be very important.

If quick trigger is used in your area, you need either a V1 or a segmented STi-R plus

Both of those will probable detect laser aimed at your vehicle. (The STi-R plus because the sensors are located near the most common point of aim, and the V1 because it just has mind-blowing laser detection abilities.)

However both are simply ticket notifications 98% of the time you get a laser alert from either of them.

You could add shifters to the STi-R Plus, but they don't give good protection on larger/brighter vehicles.

If you have a larger vehicle Li is the best (and most expensive.) Blinder has some good LED jammers. with pricing between the shifters and the LI.
