Hiding rear laser detector

Hi everyone

I just installed an Escort 9500ci in my vehicle. Like many states, its illegal to have laser/radar detectors. All equipment has been well hidden from the plain view. However, the rear laser shifter and radar detector sits atop of the license plate and its clearly in view of a trained police officer.

I know that laser shifter/diffuser has to be in the line of sight, but that exposes the same in the plain view. Any suggestions? I know if I hide beneath the bumper, then the laser shifter wont work and it will be only a radar detector.

Welcome! Tell them that it is a parking sensor. Dress them up some way, dunno! Ask in the lidar or install section....
