Yes, Cliff has awesome service and a great product, can't really beat that.
As for your speaker, Escort makes a nice one.

Do you think any local retailers would have the escort speaker or order only?
I just went on the radio shack web site and the non amplified one is $25, the escort one is amplified for $30. I think I might go for the escort one. I'll swing by radio shack and see what they have in stock.
Mount the LI's as far out as you can (as close to the headlights). The only problem I have is the side marker lights are vulnerable with them mounted a little inboard like those shown in the pics.
I got my speaker from RadarBusters.com. Works great, actually it's a little on the load side if you don't have the stereo blasting.

you can hook up the mute lead to your stereo if you're worry about not hearing alerts over the stereo
Yea I'm going to have to see if the stock radio in the vette supports this. I think it does, but I need to get the harness pinout.
Do you know the hole size for the LI on/off switch? I'm guessing 1/2 inch. Can someone confirm. I also installed my today at 7pm and finished it at 8pm. Geeze it got dark when i was done.
