    Default LI wire

Are the wires for the slim heads for the rear longer then the wires for regular heads for front?

That is what I am going to have to get...The regular 8.7 heads did great plugged straight into CPU but when extended it was P/T city. The regular 8.7 heads do not have long enough wire to reach the back so I guess I will sell them and buy some slim heads.

The "extension" is a big issue. JFG with PL3 but near instant PT with UltraLyte and TruSpeed. Testing the setup with serveral guns is the only way to find out of if the setup is good. The rear mount was perfectly squared and alligned.

I just got a new LI setup with the slim heads. The wires are way too long. Would I be better off to shorten the wires to the exact length needed and install new connectors?

Leave the excess wire and simply tuck it away at the CPU installation location. You never know when you may change cars and need that extra length.
