    Default direct wire.

    ok, so im gonna add a direct wire setup to my girlfriends car..i know how to and have done it before, but have a question about a cord.

    ok so you have the ground hoop, i get that, but for the add a circuit wire theres a thing on the end of this one..what is it, and can i just cut it off, peel the wire cover back and slip in the add a circiut or what..

    Why would you remove the ground hoop? Just drill a hole somewhere metal and put a screw there with the ground hoop attached, then wire positive to the add-a-circuit.

    oh no..not the ground hoop...im talking about the positive..the positive wire has a wierd little input thing on it, and looks like i cant add a circuit..im keeping the ground hoop..haha

    The positive wire just has a quick connect on it, you don't "add-a-circuit" to the cord, you add the cord to the add-a-circuit.

    Buy the AAC, add to fuse box, splice wire from AAC, plug direct wire in.
