LI Install question.

So my LI will be here 2morrow. Do I just take it out of the box, mount the heads (making sure they are level) and wire the box and switch? If thats the case I might see if my local shop can just wire the box for like $10?
Do I need to change any settings or anything?
And how do you attach the switch to the dash? (Drill a hole but how does the button stay attached????)

ALSO, any way to make sure it works??? If something is wrong will it tell me? Like on start up, instead of saying "Welcome" would it say "Error" or something like that?

All LI's are pre-configured when shipped as part of the QC (Quality Control) so no need to do anything to it but install and play!

The LI power switch requires a 3/4" hole.

When you turn the LI on, if the sensors are properly connected to the proper ports, you will get the "Welcome" Alert. For 15 seconds after you get the "Welcome" Alert, the LI is in PA (Parking Aid) Mode after which you will hear the "Parking Aid is Deactivated" Alert and the LI is now in JAM Mode.
