Lidar in January?

Well, I'll be the first to admit that I thought the Maryland State Police had retired all Lidar guns until spring. Wrong! Cruising along in the left lane, PSL + 15 and I get the alert from the Redline and the LI. Unmarked cruiser in the left lane under a the Montgomery Road bypass (on NB I95); trooper hanging out the drivers side door shooting PL3. JTK once I got down to +5. Just can't imagine that was too fun for the trooper, when I looked down at the outside temp. gauge, it read 37 degrees F.

Lesson learned: it's always good to use your CMs, even when the weather seems like a factor!

Indeed! Thanks again for your help. Even though I haven't had a save in a few months now, it's just second nature to JTK; practice does help with the routine.

I hit 5 different lidar traps in January. 3 local leos, 2 CT state troopers. All JTKed with my jammers. Thank god for laser jammers. I suspect the first warm late winter/spring day will be a lidar party. Can't wait!

Hit on I-90 in western Mass last week. It was night time and quite cold.
