Get Li dual or Blinder hp-905 dual

I currently have m27 jammers and they jam everything but 2 guns currently. (laser ally and prolaser4) . the main reason im seeing about switching to Li is there has been no update for the 7 series as promised upon purchase. im wondering if this will happen again on the hp model.
main reason is i dont like the mounting option im seeing. the sensors are so small on blinder im concerned about mountin as i had to use zipties to get my m27 right level dead on straight. but the hp905 model im not seeing anywhere to affix zipties if i needed to mount this way again. 3m tape is great but not on my chevey grille. its too small and will bank uneven so zipties worked perfectly on m27.
i see Li has holes on both sides of jammers and can def. switch the jammer out with the same approx look as my current jammers with little to no problem. The Li has holes to affix if 3m or the brackets arent an option. I also like the Li has a led and an alarm where the new blinder hp has only the speaker and no led and all is connected to cpu which then has to be positioned to be able to see the cpu module so you can hear it. I also see a switch to kill the jammers on the Li and I am not sure on this one with blinder. i would think it would have a 3 way switch as well like their 7 seies to go from parking mode to jam mode, etc.
anyone with any help on these 2 jammers for replacement on my current blinder m27, please contact me or respond here. I just find it all comes down to the mounting questions, and the cpu with no led on blinder(is this a problem) not being able to visually see a led when set off and positioning of the cpu so you can hear the alarm when it goes off. anyways, trying to figure this stuff out before i drop 5 bills on a dual. thanx

I think if you browse the posts of the LI and the Blinder forums the answer to which one to go for is quite evident. LI has consisently been able to update the firmware in the cpu to handle changing threats in a timely manner .... Blinder does not have a great track record providing updates.

This is why I chose the Li's over blinder. Blinder has not issued 1 update since i buy the m27 last june and have been sent numerous emails saying the update for the 27 series is coming since last July 2012. The blinder one big advantage is the system does seem to be more user friendly as far as updateing right from the pc inside home but the Li needs a laptop and special cord depending on which OS your running.
Once I get this down though, owning Li's will be easy as far as doing changes, etc, But your right, Li does do many more changes.
I just looked yesterday to see Li put another update for people buying unit before dec 22nd, I bought mine on dec 21st, and before this, Li had an update back in august. So yes, Li appears to be more on the ball with better performance.

I'm not sure why anyone would ask this question. Its not like the difference between Antilaser and LPP. There is a massive price difference between those two with near identical performance.

Search back to 2005-2006 you will see who has consistently lead the way. Why anyone who has the option of buying a Laser Interceptor would choose or consider another product instead completely baffles me. Unless you have absolutely no space to fit LI heads on your vehicle, there is no logical reason to choose a Blinder...

Oh, your talking about the hp laser intercepter. I just got their regular Li which has 1 laser diode and not 2 like the hp unit Li's. I dont believe blinder offers the dual Laser diode in their unit. The Li's I bought were actually cheaper than the hp905 and thats it made it much more affordable for the Li to get a set. In any case, their both great products in my opinion owning both. I just didnt like the ultra small size of the hp905...thats it there both excellent.

No sir, I am not talking about the HP LI. Standard LI vs HP905 is what I was referring to. Knowing the track record and documented performance of both models, and not to mention they are similarly priced, why would someone even consider a HP905? The only thing I can think of is lack of space.

Funny you should mention "space" this was the end deciding factor on me getting the Li's. The Li cover where I had the m27's up front perfectly and the hp905 would have been too small and hard to mount (I didnt like the mounting brackets on the hp905 either) this said, your right about people buying for space. I mean if I had a brand new car maybe this would be a selling point. I will tell you the blinder saved me(m27) many times in the 6 months I had it on the front of my car. I just got a new dual Li december 21 2012 and really like it alot. Have a good day and happy new year as well.
