Well peeps i've got a roadtrip to NJ coming up so today i ordered the LP905 to integrate with my RX65.I needed to keep things simple for my wife and not clutter the new car dash with switches and buttons.Roy gave me a GREAT price on it and i got it overnighted so it'll be here tomorrow.I didn't need any jtg since we only do about 5 to 6 over the psl.Still debating on if i should mount the rear head on the rear just for giggles so that we know when we're being shot from the rear.I would hate to mount it to the front plate and have someone back into the new car and trash it.
^ Congrats on the purchase.
Now, as for that single head, up front, you can try to build an "offset" mount so that it'll be recessed along the same plane as your front bumper.
This will take some creativity and work, but it can be done.
I do have my ZR3 set up the "traditional" way, with two heads out front and one out rear. Since I've also got two LPP heads facing forward and one out rear, I use the ZR3 - integrated with my x50 - to give me a clear, easy-to-reference read-out of where the laser threat is located. Visualizing the detector's display is much easier than looking at the two closely-spaced LEDs that I have set-up for my LPPs.![]()
Thanks bro..That's the main reason why i went with the LP905.Pure Simplicity.I don't like having lights, buttons and switches all over. The less clutter the better for me.Plus, like you i can just look at my RX65 screen and see what's firing. Then i can decide to double tap my directwire smartcord mute button and send them into recieve only mode.
This is my suggestion. I know you bought the LP905 so i would but the heads where the yellow is.
That is exactly where i planned on putting them.![]()
