If their actions were just bringing the LEO's wrath upon themselves, I wouldn't have that big of a problem with it. The real problem is that actions like this will, in my opinion, speed up the process of making them illegal in areas where they are still legal and speed up the increase in penalties for those of us that live in areas where they are already illegal.
    x2.

I don't mind seeing idiots get whats coming to them, but for them to ruin it for the rest of us... then we have issues.

That's what I really meant. I don't think it'll be long before videos on Youtube surface with a vehicle delibrately and recklessly making multiple passes in front of a leo without getting caught. Agreed though, at some point most states will probably have some kind of law regarding a laser jammer and banning its use. It's going to be stunts like this that will contribute to accelerating the process.

    So true ^.

I live in a jammer banned country so I would never try that on in the first place but it definitely sounds like a way of getting yourself in trouble.

The key after all is stealth and indicating to the LEO in question that you had some way of defeating him is totally counter-productive.

Jam and then turn off the system and they can get readings all the time after that and you will be fine but acting the bollocks will get you pwned!!!
