    I dont know how much you want to spend .

    Here you should find many drivers tested and built , the ETX-12 is around $200 uscy .

    http://www.eodevices.com/main_eodmain_frameset.htm

    Product Features:

    Pulse Repetition Frequency: up to 40 kHz (standard), up to 100 kHz (custom).
    Vsupply = 5.0Vdc @ 15mA (max. quiescent, no load), < 600mA @ full load/max voltage.
    SPI-bus compatible discharge voltage control.
    TTL/CMOS compatible trigger input.
    TTL/CMOS compatible discharge detection output.

    Linked to a V-1 for detection , one should build a terrific jammer if someone find the solution to the ''window time'' explained by Jim in this thread :

    Please put me on your first buyer list , altogether we should be able to build an efficient home made '' GEN 9.9 AL'' :wink:

    Anjoem, I don't think you will get the power out of that setup. Feed the diode directly from the 9V supply.

    For 10 W pulsed power you will need app 30V over the diode.

    Well according to the SPLPL90 Datasheet, the operating voltage is between 3.3V - 5.3V, so i based my schematic on that... as soon as i get the components, i will test it out...

    That is for a 100 ns pulse @10 kHz pulse rate.

    If you want to go to a 20 ns pulse @ say 200 Hz pulserate you will need to beef up the voltage in order to get the current you want. :wink:

    Yes Surf Daddy, such an Emitter certainly would set off any working Laser Jammer. These (and all Jammers for that matter) all detect the rapid Pulsed wave of a Lidar Gun (It is a steep line-Spike in appearance on a Scope Vortex demonstarted it on here somewhere). Electronics is a learning Curve which I have also climbed gradually. Good Luck in your efforts.
