veil chrome?

i have heard others with cars with a lot of chrome actually put veil directly on the chrome...can you do this? wouldnt this fall under "do not pain your car with veil", or is chrome different? thanks.

Some people do treat their chrome with veil but I don't think it comes out looking too good! You won't damage chrome with the veil!
