Long Island, NY Radar experiences.

This Sunday my brother got pulled over on the LIE by a Suffolk cop (Not Sheriff) who was in the center median. Speed Detection method: Laser.

Some how he talked his way out, but that's becides the point.

NOTE: He did not have a radar detector in the car.

I have had two more encounters with Instant On K-Band from the Suffolk Sheriffs. They are using Instant On. This is why it's difficult to detect them; Instant On signals and Laser is being used.

Encountered Ka-Band from the Sheriff's yesterday. This morning I visually saw a Sherrif using a Laser gun.

In Nassau I encountered Ka before.

I also detected "POP" once from a Nassau Officer headed in the other direction. Not sure if it was false or legit.

They hide anywhere and everywhere on the LIE, even on the on coming ramps. I would speed with caution..
