Last year when I was in Ontario driving up to Owen Sound then over to Barrie and down south from there, I picked up nothing but k band on the drive up to Owen Sound but the next day while coming into Colingwood, had an OPP officer running I/O k band behind me. Lucky for my, my Bel STi alerted the whole time and I kept my speed at a minimum.

I am in the same area, and no the transponder gates do not give false laser hits. You might have been near a car with malfunctioning HID's, those will give falses. Or it could have been a real hit!......... The sun will give a laser false when at the right angle.... what time was it?

It was around 7pm, with the sun in my eyes around an off ramp turn. It's plausible the sun gave a false laser nearing an hour to sundown. There was very little traffic around me and I think/hope there was no LEO there!
    Here's the exact location.

I will get laser falses when driving directly toward the sun, about 1 hour before sunset..... and after sunrise.... If you didn't get pulled over, I will say it was a false.
