    Default AutoCom Active Plus

I just spoke with a custom, and he was having some problems with his AutoCom Active Plus working with his Beltronics GX65, he says that when he turns on the bike the GX65 is going off in a high pitch loud squeal. Anyone have any suggestion on what could be causing this?

According to the customer, the detector is not alerting to any frequency, and he uses the AutoCom for bike - bike communication, radio and blue tooth.

Have you tried a ground loop isolator?

I actually just spoke with him today, and since I wasn't able to get any actual good answer for him to this problem he decided to go a head and try the hard system so we set an order up for him on that. As for the ground loop isolator I will give him a call and see what he thinks of that, thanks for the info

You could also try a phono adapter that attenuates the sound...

I has a this problem with Escort detectors before I went to V-1. Seems that the speaker output is floating above ground. so some kind of isolation is required between RD and autocomm input. Ground Loop isolator would do it I think.
