The gang - who dub themselves Liverpool Jaguar Boyz - took the footage on a mobile phone and posted it on video sharing site YouTube.
They are seen making hand gestures at each other and grinning as they egg the driver on to almost double the speed limit.
The film starts with the luxury saloon approaching 90mph.
With his foot hard down, the driver soon accelerates to 110mph, as one of his accomplices gleefully films the speedometer.
At that point, a skin-headed youth in the passenger seat yells out "110!" in a Merseyside accent, before excitedly shouting "120!"
Their words can barely be heard above the wind noise from the hurtling Jaguar.
He then shrieks "One-three-O" before flicking his fingers and making another celebratory hand signal at his friends in the back.
The car's rev counter is near the red line, and with his foot on the boards, the driver struggles to push it past 130mph.
"Keep going! Keep going!" the gang member in the passenger seat shouts.

Eventually the car hits 134mph and the footage switches to the wind screen showing the car thundering up the motorway.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "We are reviewing the content of the video to try to identify the individuals featured in the film and ultimately bring them to justice.
"The force monitors YouTube and other such websites for evidence of crimes committed locally.
"It is important to establish whether images on the site originate from Merseyside, as it often the case that some of the footage posted is duplicated when searching on different geographic areas on the website."
