Yea, I wouldn't pass a cop on the highway, but if they go under the PSL I'm not going under with them.

My non-technological countermeasure is 400 grit sandpaper.

The license plate is a nasty IR reflector due to it's retroreflective nature. So Lidar guns get a great reflection at a zero degree angle of incident. Plate covers are a joke and replica plates are $$$. 1 sheet of 400 grit sandpaper is <$.50 and only requires 45-60 minutes of careful work.

You can see the difference on the left plate's top edge and bottom right corner where I missed some of the plate with the sandpaper. This was corrected after I took the picture.

You need a few Judges phone #'s in your cell phone. One of mine includes a US Circuit Court Appeal Judge. They can usually get a little slack cut for you.

I glance at the license plate before passing any police interceptor models.
sometimes its hard to tell the unmarked from the "former" unmarked cars.
Those posers that buy used police interceptors and tint the windows aren't fooling me
