I mount my V1 high no matter if i am in my car or in a SUV
And yes the mounts Roy sells will work with all the detectors listed and some more

Well it tucks almost perfectly jsut slightly "behind" the RVM in the Impala, the curve of the RVM allows me to see the screen perfectly .
Problem is, the RVM is now "blocking" the rear-facing laser-port, on top of the RX-65.
is this an issue?
I suppose I should drop it down another inch or so, to allow line-of-sight to that port.....
Rx65 rear laser is a joke. Mine's blocked too, and i'm not the lease bit concerned.Originally Posted by the-ROOSTER-

I pretty much rely on my jammers to do the laser detection, especially from rear-on.

If you have a laser jammer, then I recommend mounting it high and stealthy. Since I don't have a laser jammer presently, I mount mine mid (center) windshield. Mounting your rd midway gives you the combination of a low mount for laser, and a high mount for radar. Also, if their is an argument over mounting it low or high, mounting it midway offers you the "best of both worlds". The only problem I will have w/ mounting mine high is, I will have to have 2 hardwire plugs, 1 for the V1 and another for my BelEscorts.
Rooster i have mine mounted in the middle.
No blocks from radar and good rear detection.
I had mine mounted low but found out my detection was poor.
BTW how do like the rx 65? I love mine
well it depends, do LEOs hit cars with laser from behind? other wise it doesn't matter.
