The V1 will simultaneously indicate any band detected, if X K and Ka are all present the band indicator lights will show all three. If they are all coming from different directions the arrows will all illuminate with the strongest threat arrow flashing. The audio and strength indicator LED's are tied to the strongest signal.Originally Posted by ziddey
The flashing arrows being the strongest is not accurate specially when it encounters the stalkers. Stalkers also can cause ghosting on the V1 showing 2 bogeys with only 1 source. For some reason, the stalkers is giving the v1 this problem like the X50 against 35.5 kustom radars in expert mode.Originally Posted by zappy
If you use spec mode, you'll notice that the frequency changes when you encounter 35.5 kustom radar jumping from 35.5 to 33.xxx and vice versa.Originally Posted by aradarnut
Mine definitely does not do that. It's 35.538(something like that) and solid on spec mode. I put it in expert mode just for today looking for this. Maybe Signal Hill is running Decaturs. Or maybe the SRX, which has the original 8500 as its' RD I believe, does not show this.Originally Posted by Azonehits
Do you know why the Kustoms do this and not the Decaturs?Originally Posted by Azonehits
I don't have a clue.Originally Posted by aradarnut
