    why is it best to hardwire rd?

    Frees up your port for other things like phone chargers, GPS.
    Keeps wires out of sight
    Allows neater installations

    Just a few of the reasons I like it.

    Less likely for cops to see your cord.....usually instant ticket if you get stopped.

    I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks with my hardwire.


    Seriously though it was more to keep the cord out of the sight.

    i watched radar roys vid on how to hard wire a RD... but am still not sure about it. can it be done without using a "add a circuit"? or is that the best way to go? if so, would any local stores carry them if i didn't want to order it offline? thanks guys
