The v1 is slighty more sensitve.
but i'd go with the V1 everytime.
as long as it picks up Ku band (which both the V1 & 550 does) you be ok.

the 550 has been superceeded by the RX65 now i think ... any independent results on it yet ???

thats funny actually coz i read through alot of there stuff but missed the 65 right on top there
jeez ...the 65 missed 2 out of 3 IO`s and is a fair way down on sensativity compared to the V1 and STi
just so damn hard to get the decent one`s in the UK at a fair price , no wayyy am i paying near double just because i live in the UK :x

I ordered mine 3 days before flying out to Boston and it was waiting for me in my hotel room when I got to Provincetown.

the only ones i`m realy interested in after reading , researching and seeing your posts are the V1 , STi or escort 9500i, the results from GOL show how they all perform and those are quality RD`s
realy what i need to do now is find the cheapest of the 3 and settle for that
I know there's a few of us Brit's on here with V1's and we love them !

Devon and Cornwall are without doubt the most prevalent users of speed cams , in fact it so bad down there i wont go back there , even the most patient and careful of drivers will get caught out at some point
just remember , if its going of alot , more than the usual amount and you think its a false alarm , it wont be , it will be just another Gatso and another and another and another .......
the place is a nightmare plus they also use mobile laser a huge amount , usually on dual carriagways
if it goes off to a camera it's doing it's job !
