Oh yeah, you need the hardwire kit, I love not having the stupid cord in my way.

I'd bet if you switched the mounting positions of those 2 detectors mate, the STi still would have killed it (the S2).
Possible, you might be 1000% correct but still the higher the better, my personal opinion only

No interference whatsoever, both alerted to the very same real or false sources, never ever one did it but the other one did not, the only difference was that the STI was always ahead of the S2...

Cause these are the 2 RDs I'm owning, the S2 used heavily (for a full year) until I bought the STI in Sept '06, did you want me to replace the words S2 with something else just for the sake of not mentioning the S2?

    ABSOLUTELLY!!!

Last year, down in the States, for a while I ran my STI in its usual place by the sun visor and my other RD, the Escort S2 hooked up to the cig lighter and mounted low just above the windshield wipers, with suction cups, always the STI was waaaaaaaaay ahead of the S2 in all alerts, K and Ka radar, and no difference (both in the very same time) for the laser ones... try to mount it anywhere around the RVM including up by the visor with

I raced my Mustang against my brother on his bicycle and I won every time because I chose the faster right hand lane. :?: :P

So, short and sweet for what its worth!

I want to see them, I am pretty sure I have seen them before, can you either PM me with pics, post them here, or possibly if you did post them in the past... simply tell me what the name of the topic was.
Think I am full of BS, huh?

Here is a pic of my V995 opened up and outside of its case:

My V995 currently is more or less on permanent loan with one of my best friends.

Here are pics of my STi and 9500i both mounted above my RVM:

I use both of these radar detectors nearly every day. I almost exclusively use my 9500i during the daytime whenever I travel to town, to Atlanta, or whenever I drive 70+ miles to visit my father in Rome, GA. I always exclusively use my STi at night since it is undetectable and since I have custom dimmed its displays so that only I can see its display and illuminated push buttons at night. Standing 40 feet behind my car at night, I can not see my STi's display.

It doesn't look like it... because it doesn't seem like in that picture the STi is hooked up, only the 9500i is. (Though, thats just an observation, he may have one).

Very nice though MEM-TEK, and I have seen that set-up before... (not sure with what detector... I dont think the 9500i)... but another one (maybe the STi or V995).
