So driving down i see a cop at an intersection, and guess what he has a radar detector...it was an older whistler mounted in the middle of the windshield...i guess they need to watch out for those speed traps

Actually, it's so he can find the best places to set up a speed trap. The Whistler is there to tell him where there are a lot of falses from door openers, burglar alarms, etc. He then parks his cruiser nearby.

its a pretty good, albeit sneaky plan in theory though to set up shop where nobody takes an alert seriously.

still a V1 and its bogey counter could prevail here where a lot of others might fail :idea:
