Upgrade worth it?

I currently have a Bel RX-65 and really just for the hell of it I was thinking of "upgradeing" to the escort 9500i
Now i can't really justify paying money to just get a more silent detector so are there any other benifits?
the most important band by far for me is KA

so should i upgrade..or not and why?
any and all opinions welcomed

If you look at the Guys of Lidar testing between the two, the 9500i has near the sensitivity of the V1.

so the only thing wrong with the V1 is that it gives off too many false alerts? its starting to look like i should just get a V1

the v1 is very sensitive..but the arrows and bogey counter help out a lot and once u go arrows u cant go back...also with X off and pop off the v1 is very quiet...put some rear k band muting settings on it and ur good to go

The big thing now is there redlight/speed cameras in your area? Then it would be worth it.

X2, Thats just because I am a fan of the BLUE displays on Belscorts. I would pay the extra money for just the blue (as I do have a blue X50). Then add in the few extra features (IMO what the 9500i should have been the first time... or was promised to be somewhat)... and you certainly have no reason to buy the 9500i (in my book).

IX? you mean just get it in blue? or is there a bigger difference other then the led color

as far as speed/red light camera's there's not many, i just know of a couple but i don't see a point in marking them if i already know they are there (unless there's already data bases that tells me of ones i don't already know about)
