Does it make a difference if the RD bounces up and down while driving? Or should it stay in the same place and not bounce around? I don't know how to not get it to move.

    Hi Ken,

Work carefully on the angle of the bracket where it enters the slot on the Pro78. If you adjust the angle in this area just right, then the Pro78 will click into place yet will not bounce around. Then you can adjust the angle of the rest of the bracket, further forward of where you adjusted the bracket to make a snug fit when it slides into the Pro78's slot, in order to get the Pro78 level when attached to your windshield.

ditto that^. I can't imagine bounce would matter much but try to reduce it just for the psychological benefit.

It might not make a difference, but it would drive me crazy. Sound strange, but, I have the X50 mounted really high. I put my extra suction cup, stuck to the top of it so it touches the roof, 0 vibration this way.
