I was traveling around Jackson, MS and was doing 80/70. Next thing I know, I here my V1 start going off with an arrow from behind, so I slow it down to 70. In my rear view, I see the state trooper who then passes me. The V1 wasn't going off consistently it was as if the trooper was using I/O instead of C/O. Well he passes me and I was on the phone so I wasn't paying attention and started to just drive since he had passed me and didn't even realize that I was continuing to trail him after he passed me. Well my V1 wasn't going off any more so I got my speed up to about 80-85/70 trailing this trooper. All of a sudden, the V1 goes off and its bars are at max detection as if he shot me. He then decides to flash his lights while he is in front of me. Of course, I slowed down and continued to trail him and he never pulled over and I never went in front of him and he took the next exit as I continued on my trip. I felt very relieved that he didn't stop me but I was curious to know what kind of radar is that where he could shoot me from being in front of me like it was I/O? Any help is appreciated.
