To my understanding it is a good CB, let us know how it works out for you.
Outside Independence Hall when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."

With a low-performance antenna you can buy a $1,000 Galaxy CB and you'll hear just your kids going to school across the street... CB antenna and NOT the CB radio is the one that gives you the long range of clear signal you are looking for... if you really want long range...

If you are on a budget - do lil wil.

If not - Wilson 1000 or 5000 with the short load whip. its about a foot taller than the Lil Wil but the quality is amazing.

I got my Magnet Mount on my trunk - looks great :-D

PLUS If you go on long trips and want to use the normal whip you can.
