Today I was able to find a used cobra 29 nw st in very good condition, and it only cost me 70 bucks!!!. This is supposed to be a great cb, and sells new for $159.00..can't wait to hook it up OH>>>I forgot to mention that it is peaked and tuned

To my understanding it is a good CB, let us know how it works out for you.

With a low-performance antenna you can buy a $1,000 Galaxy CB and you'll hear just your kids going to school across the street... CB antenna and NOT the CB radio is the one that gives you the long range of clear signal you are looking for... if you really want long range...Originally Posted by jdreynss

If you are on a budget - do lil wil.
If not - Wilson 1000 or 5000 with the short load whip. its about a foot taller than the Lil Wil but the quality is amazing.
I got my Magnet Mount on my trunk - looks great :-D
PLUS If you go on long trips and want to use the normal whip you can.
I have a used wilson 1000 mag mount antenna for sale good price and great shape 1 year old price for it is $60. and i also got a few other cb stuff or sale.
