Auto is used to dectect if you on the freeway or city with out toggle.

Just wondering how a non gps unit knows the distiction of the two and adjusts.

I am curious and want to learn.

With the 9500IX I can see how Auto works with knowing the speed of the vehicle though GPS.

I switched to expert meter after about 2 weeks with the 9500ix. I got used to it quickly, and now use it 100% of the time. As CJR says... It's fun to hear Multiple Frequencies Detected!!
