Default 2008 Mazdaspeed3 LI Quad Install

Hey guys, let me know what you think of my LI Quad install. It took me quite a few hours to do everything as I'm very anal about measuring and fabricating, and just couldn't decide how I wanted to mount everything. In the end, I only ended up notching a small plastic front grill support on either side to make room for the sensors, and on the rear I simply screwed 2 small screws per side under the valance on either side of the rear plate. I cut the mounting tabs off the sensors up front and stuck them on with 3M tape, and used the small 90deg brackets on the rears. Sorry for the extremely crappy pics, I will get better ones I promise!

Thanks guys. I know the rears are too low, but it's really hard to install them anywhere else without major modification to the car. The damn car has the biggest butt I've ever seen. I know Cliff keeps telling me about rear laser, but on the highway it seems as though FHP mainly hits the front of the car whereas local LEOs go both ways. All of my speeding is on the highway, I don't ever speed on local streets.

Looks good, shave the Mazdaspeed 3 emblem with some dental floss and remove the Fairbanks Mazda sticker for a much cleaner look.

Yeah I need to get rid of that damn dealer sticker. Just got the car a few months ago, and haven't had time to mess with it until now!

By the way, anyone between Orlando and the Daytona Beach area wanna help me test my setup? Lunch will be on me! I'd prefer to find out how it performs with someone not wearing a badge...
