They have an additional 15% off till Midnight PST tonight as well! You can get the one with the 40GB HD for about the same as I paid for the 30GB Model!

I just ordered a DCR-SR85 on Christmas eve. It is the 60 gigabyte memory version of Cliff's camera, and I got it for $309.00 plus shipping at TechonDIGITAL . They definitely have the cheapest prices on the net. Beware though, they give you a very hard-sell spiel on the phone after your order, trying to sell you overpriced accessories like batteries, chargers, and memory sticks. That's where they make their money, so price those accessories elsewhere before you cave in and buy them.

Definitely stick with the Sony for the NightShot and the great Image Stabiliser.

Best to buy camera equipment from a reputable dealer like B&H photo (B&H Photo Video | Digital Cameras, Camcorders). This place is one of the highest respected stores in the business. Other than factory direct, this is the best, and most used by folks in the camera arena. These low cost places are pure rip offs. They sell you import equipment that you essentially have no warrantee for and USA factory authorized repair shops won't touch them. As mentioned in some earlier posts, they try to get you to buy a lot of very overpriced accessories, and when you don't, then the item is no longer in stock in most cases. Best to just pay a reasonable price from a reputable dealer and have a camera that is covered with USA warrantee, and will be serviceable if a problem arises. With Nikon equipment (the stuff I use), b&h also sells import products of the same model (and they won't try to scam you), and if I want to gamble, the price is always lower , but not one factory repair shop will touch the thing for warrantee repairs, and the resale value is much lower, if you can sell it at all. Just my two cents.
