    Mine has both the 30 gig HD and SD card capable.

    x2. In two decades as a photojournalist, B&H was my choice, and the choice of most of the pros I worked with. You might beat their price, but not by too much. And you certainly won't beat their service and knowledge.

    The Sonys use their proprietary Memory Stick, which in the biggest "Pro Duo" model holds up to 8GB, if I recall correctly. CF and SD cards are available up to 16 and 32GB. My DCR-SR220 (60GB hard drive) takes great video, but vibration is hard on it. I drove on I-16 out to Savannah, GA a few weeks back, and that highway was so rough that it wouldn't record for more than a couple of minutes at a time before shutting itself off. Or, if I have the top down and get over 50mph, the wind buffetting it makes it shut off. Not what you want for extended in-car video, but for handheld use, SteadyShot mode makes for very smooth video indeed.
