Hey DogGod,
What RD are you running?
I had a V1 1.7 2.909, I sold it and currently dont have an RD. Trying to save for a bike. But I may have to get another RD I feel naked without it.

AirMoore?Maybe GOL should do a "drop test", where we find out which detector can be dropped from the greatest height and still work.
Anyone willing to send us their unit
V1 should steal the old Chevy slogan "Like a Rock"
I never leave mine in my car on a hot or cold day and occasionally I'll be shuffling the keys, mail, phone etc and I've dropped it from about 6FT a few times and she does not scratch or falter just keeps right on kicking radar / laser butt.
Thanks for your replies, I was very concerned that I would damage this fine piece of craftsmanship. BTW I got 2.6 Km warning on my KA band driving home from work today. Very impressed, thats even behind the tint strip!
my front v1 lens is kinda scratch.....will it affect the performance alot?
I doubt it. Since the lens is plastic and radar passes through plastic, I think you will be fine.Originally Posted by g35racer
you should use some glass polish to remove scratches, follow this up by cd polish!
t cut also works well, i've only got finger scratches on mine....
i have no idea why the v1 got dropped from 30 ft, maybe mike tried this.. but doesnt want to tell, or someones girlfriend had an argument which resulted in holding the v1 from a multi story cark park?
the v1 may be mistaken for a hockey puck!
