    Default "E" error

now in the past week, my 3.851 V1 has displayed the "E" message 10 times.... no joke.... it also displayed it three times in the matter of a few hours...... its really dis heartening.... i am going to VR tomorrow and either returning it for my money back and staying with the x50 or i am gonna try to get it serviced, but i want another 30 days with it to see if its better or not!

Sorry to hear about that. Keep us posted about what VR has to say about the "E".

Well if its any sign, it was 138 in my truck the other day..I got in and to my horror i forgot to remove the V1 from the windshield.... Turned it on in terror praying I didnt see the dreaded "E"

Never happened... In this AZ heat im sure its putting the V1 to the test and thus far its bulletproof.

well i just got back and they took it back and i am getting it serviced and i will have it shipped to my house on ups 1-day ground(northern ky) for free!!!! couldn believe that thought they would charge me shipping..... one of the techs i guesslooked at my serial number and said that he could have it back to me on wednesday. so i guess i will give it a second chance... but i am dissapointed to an extent i do like the tones and arrows over the X50 but i still would put money on the X50....

Well in retrospect, i had my x50 for 2 days till it self cal came up....2 DAYS.....

anyways i still need to send it back for repair.. then it will be an inferior backup to the allmighty V1

Be sure and post back when you find out what they did to it. I think I'll hang onto my 3.826 for now. Even the "J" alert is flawless on mine.
