As I said in the original post:
"On various passes I used both units at the same time and one at a time, to rule out interference between units from their LO's. I also swapped positions. I covered all the bases to compare the units."

.... when using one unit at a time, I pulled the power on the unused unit.

Jim can confirm this. If you run the V1 and RX65 besides each other and while detecting the same cop radar the V1 can be "J"ed out by the RX65 so this may the same with 995.

I have to have the best Ka sensitivity possible. Yes, that means the V1 stays, and the Bel 995 goes back to Best Buy.

Why didn't you try the Rx65? That fairly regularly tests well.

x2, a $270 unit vs. a $400 dollar one, and he is pumped the V1 beat it... that should be expected on all bands.

I think you are mistaken the Beltronics RX65 is the one most people see as being equal to or better than the V1, unless I missed something

BEL makes the same claim for the 995 in its ads, as does Craig Petersen on his radar testing site.

FYI, MSRP for 995 is $299, and $329 for RX-65.
