    Default Bit the bullet

    Hi guys & gals,

Well, I finally ordered my V1 yesterday. I did alot of research about 6 months ago but didn't order anything. Well, last Sat I donated $350 to the Moapa Indian reservation north of Las Vegas. Not again!!!!!!!! I thought the guy in front of me had his V1 on, but the power cable broke on him just before we got nailed.
Thanks for all the good advise I've read in the forums. I'm counting the days before it arrives....

So when you mean "we got nailed" you got a 350 dollar ticket?

Or you did really bad in the casino's?

    :-D

    Welcome to the club.

Got a ticket. Because we were going through the Indian Reservation it was a "Federal" ticket. He said he could also give us a "regional" ticket, that would suspend our licenses, impound the cars and a night in jail. We chose the Federal ticket, $350 with no points or reporting to any state.
The thing is, there were 3 red corvettes and two NHP. I was pulled over with another car by one cop, we both got the $350 ticket (106 in a 75). The 3rd car got a $140 ticket (95 in a 75), by the second cop. He was the one in the fast lane passing us...... It should have been the other way around or at least all of us with the same amount.

it sure is tough to argue with a soveriegn nation within the united states.

I live right off the Lac Du Flambeau Rez. in Northern Wisconsin. (I know most of the cops there though)

And many people do not realize what can actually happen to them under tribal law.

I think you got lucky, it sure could have been worse.

Atleast your insurance won't be finding out.

    Enjoy your V1.
