Default False Laser Alert From Rear

I got a brief laser alert from the rear on the freeway the other night on my V1. Traffic was moderate and i was in the right lane. My rear and and side windows behind the drivers seat are dark factory tinted. Is it even possible to get a rear laser alert with this setup? If not, what could cause it to false like that?

I got several the other day during my normal commute. They were all behind me and consisted of 3 or 4 brief bursts of laser. I had forgotten about the laser cc.

You shouldn't ever get a laser false from the rear from either of these. . .

seeing at the laser is only in the 3rd brake light.

I got a rear laser alert through the tinted window though. It probably wasnt an LEO, but even if it was from a laser cruise control, I didnt think my V1 would see it through the tint. Thats actually pretty good sensitivity.

IR can go right through most tints. If you were to look through an IR camera the tint may as well not even be there.

There is no such thing as a false laser alert.

I got a rash of them the other day on my new V1.
This was in a Dodge Caravan with factory privacy glass and the alerts were from the rear.

No Leo anywhere in site but I was on an expressway and this went on for about 10 seconds so it could have been a laser controlled cruise or something like that in a car behind me.
Point is, it went right through the privacy glass which is very dark on the Caravan.
All windows are that kind of glass except the windshield and front passenger windows which just have normal factory tint.
