Coming up on the 1 year mark.

I'm not really having any problems with my detector how ever i would like to send it in to valentine for a tune up before my 1 year warranty comes to an end. I'm curious if any one else has sent their detector in with out experiancing any actual issues and if valentine has an issue with this.

i just had my 3.818 in for a check up. i had it for a few years (since the POP mode was added) and just wanted to make sure it was still 100% tuned. i sent it in. sent in the 45.00 for them to check it. they returned it 10 days later..."upgraded" it to a 3.819 for free. it was out of warranty, obviously, and they still sent my 45.00 back!
