I had no problem with it so far, I haven't touched it maybe a month when it started getting cold because I am afraid it might fall off. I just leave it alone as long it is straight.

If your still having problems with it then go ahead buy a new better suction cups because they're waste of time over something stupid that falls off. :x

Moving to FL sounds better and better. No, the car is garaged and the suction cups are new, only got the V1 a few weeks before Xmas. Maybe I will try the larger cups that came with the V1. Maybe the smaller ones just don't have the holding power. I also tried salvia too to no avail.

This topic comes up every winter but, eh...

This winter, mine is mounted high, so I leave it there all the time. As long as I don't touch it, it won't come off or move.

I used to have to breath on the suction cups to warm them up and then they would stick fine. Defroster on the windshield helps too.

Lick it before you stick it :-).

Just make sure the suction cups and windshield are clean. Warming them up helps too. I haven't had any issues with mine falling down in the cold.
