    Gotta love the Jazzy!

How far away from the LEO were you when you got your first laser alert?

This is a great save. What city are you in?

My first good highway trip today with my V1, and I was pretty thrilled, as I was 30 km/h over the limit...just running with the traffic, more or less, when Ka starts ramping up. RCMP-leo eventually comes into sight coming the opposite direction. Can't say it was a save. Maybe one of my rabbits had and RD. He didn't come around after anyone, but surely, had he got me at 30 km over, he'd have made the effort.

Earlier in the day, on the way out to Banff, got a 1, up to 2, then back down to 1 bogey count. Glitch? Sure enough, I came on one LEO, then, right away, a second that had just pulled over on an exit ramp off the highway. Side-ways arrows confirming their radar as I go by.

    This thing is pretty neat!

I would love to have a laser jammer, but I don't really want to spend the money.. plus, I usually don't drive THAT fast over the PSL...

The first alert must have been from the cop targeting someone else, because I didn't get pulled over!! 50 over is an auto court date, a fine between 500-2000, and an increase of 25% on my insurance.. Just having that close call has made me slow down and keep an eye on my speed...I want to have my V1's baby.
Lucky you. Here in Ontario, 50km/h over is an automatic 1 week suspension of driver's license and 1 week impoundment of the vehicle you are driving (yours, friends, rental car, garbage truck, whatever). That part's easy to swallow, as the minimum fine is $2k and max $10,000, plus another $1k in towing and storage charges.

Plus, if you get caught with your v1 (its not spectre immune), kiss it goodbye and another fine.

I heard about that garbage truck incident.. that's way too fast for a truck like that! 3000 bucks minimum is brutal!!
