Ugh...well, they did try to deliver today, but since signature is require, I'll have to try to pick it up tomorrow. That station sucks to get to...way out of my way. If I'd have known they were using FedEx Express, I would have gotten the 9000inot.

V1 rev.3.851 and up have 34.3GHz +/-140MHz,but Rev.3.821 to 3.851 have only 34.3GHz +/-100MHz

Wow! Tons of info posted in other threads, thanks. I am curious to see if the euro mode would increase warning time for 34.3 and 34.6, but I don't think I'm willing to take the risk of missing another signal. We have two vendors in my area operating photo radar on these two bands.
BTW what do you mean by "Ka narrow" ? Is that euro?
Ka-narrowband is the same thing as Accusweep on old Bel RDs or USA mode on RX-65.That means it only scans three main Ka-band frequencies(33.8,34.7 and 35.5GHz) instead the whole Ka-band.Detectors with "Ka-narrowband or EURO-mode" also cover 2 main Ka freq. used in Europe,34.0GHz and 34.3GHz +/-100MHz
The point of Ka-narrow or Accusweep is that the sweeps are much faster, because it only sweeps "main frequencies" instead of the whole Ka-band(2600MHz) and because of that sensitivity increases.
Ka-superwide is not sensitive enough to detect properly our photoradars, like Multanova 6F or RametAD.US radars transmit up to 5 or 6W,while our radars here in EU transmit around 0,2 to 0,5mW.
Here is a test from Michael Batten of Whistler, where he tested sensitivity of different RDs and he also testedV1 in U and u-mode(this is EURO-mode on V1)See here: http://www.radardetector.net/forums/255340-post22.html

It is interesting though, my 3.816 V1 picked up a 34.6 photo radar transmitting at .25mW quicker than 34.3 at .5mW (multanova). Any guesses as to why this would be? I have not encountered photo on either frequency yet with the new V1 3.864. I think the reason may be that the multanova beam (though stronger) is more advanced than the 34.6 (unknown brand). Any ideas?
Multanova 6F has 3 power output options,so it depends which power mode was used, was the M6F measuring from the front or from the back and also I belive that PR-100 doesn't operate on such sharp angle(22°) as M6F does, which is much easyer to detect.
BTW,34.6GHz is frequency of AutoPatrol PR-100/TC-1000 photoradar
Just got mine today rev 3.871
Is that good or bad?
FWIW...very sensitive compared to my 8500x50 from what I can tell.
