cant we link external anttenna to V1 ? will it work ? anyone tried it ?

I have new escort 9500i and would like to do some experments on it lol

I've actually seen a company do this. Separate the two antenna's from the main box. They are on the internet. So it has been done.

Would like to have the compagny name doing it as many of us in EU had athermic windshield and it is a real problem for us ....

The best of the best would be to have the V1 antenna wirelless and we can stick on the upper part of thze w<insdshield where there is NO athermic part

But if you really wanted to, someone with electric engineering experience could DIY project on their own V1 if they really wanted too.
