Default V1 laser alert from the rear?

I was getting laser alert from the rear of my car last night. I know that it was probibally a false, but what could have been setting it off? Car brake lights going the opposing way on the highway?

Sethy i get false lazers alerts from red neon signs. Also when its rains it seems to false alot more around them. I have never had a lazer alot from car lights . In my house bus yesterday my V1 is mounted a good 7 foot above my headlights and number plate, this is true i got a lazer alert from a cop who was just 50 foot in front of me! So the dam thing has got red hot lazers detection. (I almost dropped my wine he he)It could of been a cop you never no!

    Could it be...

Brake lights from receding vehicles on the opposite lane.

On page 24 of the manual (2004-13) it states that brake lights can be the source of a rare laser false.

    So its possible, I guess.
