Default Mod another large suction mount to work with V1?

I had the newer suction cup mount from escort, and loved it. Very hard to get rid of. What I was wondering if anyone has either modded it or thought of modding it for a V1. It would be sweet.

Very good question. I tried doing that last night as the V1's suction cups wouldn't stick to a cold windshield. The supercup was glued to the windshield.

I'm gonna try to figure out a way when I have some free time.

I have seen some really lame ones on ebay with a longer arm on them. I dont want that, it looks all wrong.
I should just order that mount I have in the photo and see what I can do. I am just not that good at fabrication..

Anything is possible with a little work. I've always wanted to try doing something like that with a Tomtom cup. My suction cups do fine throughout the warmer months, but it gets difficult in the winter months.

I think modding the supercup is a good idea.

It has been done. It's somewhere on the forum and it was posted by one of the more senior members I think from memory.

DJI203!!! Thank you for finding that. Its exaclty what I was thinking of. But I may look at placing the metal mount plate under the plastic of the visor mount instead of on top? That way it would stay for ever , and use 1min epoxy.
