Ticket w/V1

Okay,

I actually wanna know if anyone wants to post a story about you getting a ticket with a V1. I actually got one once, but it was completely my fault, and luck of the drawn. It was back in 2002, when I got hit with I/O Ka, in the middle of no where at 12AM going 91 in a 55 in NW Alabama. No other cars, so no chance of picking up radar bursts.

I only had countermeasures for 2 months. Driving with V1 guard off and Redline. I got too used to dismissing V1 short alerts to Ka especially since the Redline is so quiet. I got a blip of Ka and next 15 seconds got lit up. My fault for not slowing down but lessen learned. Got off with no points but a big fine that was taken care of by selling the sleeping Redline.

I always slow down for any blips now.

I had 2 very close calls all were I/O 34.7 at night. If your flying down the interstate with no traffic at all you probably have a real good chance of getting stopped.

Yes it was. I was so angry at myself for not listening to my V1 and not slowing down. I was driving to FL for vacation and that basically ruined the rest of the drive and the day. I went PSL the last 3 hours. I was about to make awesome time too.

No tickets with the v1. I even had a laser scatter save.

It's very easy to ignore alerts on the v1, especially on K. That's why I got rid of it.

Well needless to say it ramped up and I was like wtf is this super leaky cobra (I was going 67 in a 65, so I was safe), then I get past by a local with I am guessing his new Ka gun

No I/O Ka from Ashland Co to Brunswick, Strongsville, to Parma. All just C/O. And that only happens about once a week or more. So you know I have Ka Guard OFF so I can remember what Ka sounds like.
