Now that the 78 is out is it time.....?

Hi everyone -

Well now that the Pro-78's are out, should I heavily consider selling my 73 online somewhere. It has been a good unit and I like the new feature's of the 78 and look. It's not about the money simply a personal opinion I want to ask you.

Performance-wise it is definitely an upgrade. Price-wise, you'd be better off trading in your 73 directly to Whistler for the XTR-690 (the 78 isn't offered as a trade model) --- unless you have someone that will give you ~$100 for the 73.

Oh yeah! The 690 and 78 are based off the same platform. IMO the 690 has cooler features

How do you trade-in/up my 73 for a 690??? Do you have to call Whistler for this information???

The trade in for my 1470 was $105.00 (for the XTR 690) They say there is a 2 week back order on it, I can't wait.
