Default Better falsing mounted low (pro 78)

I had my unit mounted right below my rear view mirror for a while. I recently just moved it right above the wipers low ! I have noticed very rare falsing than from up high. My settings are POP OFF,Filter 2,city 1,
Last week i recieved a Ka save 2-3 miles average when i went to look
for Texas State Troopers 34.7 Stalker. But will i recieve the same results?
LASER is deadly here cause of Motorcycle cops. 15 of them alone wrote 43,000 tickets last year. It is important to have the unit low since I'm in town. But i was debating on high or low mounts on the HIGHWAYS and INTERSTATES. The Stalker is very deadly and very quick faster than MPH
Instant on and its narrow beam. So low would be my choice. The city cops here run K band and constant all the time its annoying with that and the K falses. My pro 73 was really bad on k band. Thanks for your opinions.

The places a low-mount will hurt you is in traffic, where other vehicles will block the signal for a low-mounted RD.

Meh, it won't hurt you that significantly in traffic -- not to mention if traffic was thick enough to block out radar, it's not like radar could single you out either ;-)

I personally prefer lower or middle mounts on my windshield. It's much less obstructive, makes the detector much less noticeable, and makes the unit easier for me to reach.

The way it reduces falses is probably by reducing sensitivity by the way Stealthcb noted. Less chance of it picking up some stray signal from a shopping mall.
